A week or so ago I talked about the subject of common addictions in an emergency situation. This time I talk about the details people don’t think about if they have small children in a bug out/evacuation situation. .

Born and raised in South West Louisiana I’ve seen my fair share of hurricanes… The only good thing about hurricanes is there’s a warning and time enough to get stuff together.. We’ve had to bug out several times since my son was born… Now I have a 3 year old daughter and hurricane season is just around the corner… Start prepping in March/April for the “just in case”…. We stay on pins and needles from June – November… Does help with emergency preparedness though….
this is for sure a tough subject to deal with.

Great subject and great video. I would add that much of this applies to Senior’s as well. Also remember that drastic changes in a persons diet can cause diarrhea or constipation especially under a stress. Both of these conditions can be very dangerous considering the small body weight of a child. Changes in diet should be phased in and not abrupt especially with children and senior. Include gentle laxatives and anti-diarrhea meds in your kit. You’ll be very happy you did!
Well done. LOL Red Dawn siren!
