Thanls for heads up on the light, added to my amazon list for sure,
I used the same light last wed night hiking down the mt Baldy bowl trail in 2′ snow. Worked like a charm for the 3 hours down. We watched the sun set on the summit and got down at 11:37 THANKS TO THIS LIGHT, safely. cheers. I agree, great light.
That was epic when that happened!! I think often the instruction info is awfully lacking. You actually came up with a good test showing the sturdiness of the light! Well done

The head worked slightly loose on mine…eventually figured it out. Your not alone lol !
