People kept asking and asking for folders, so I’m getting started with them. The first video series will be special editions exclusive to stores. The Benchmade 940-1701 is GoingGear’s pimped out 940.

  1. Nice video, knife looks beautiful! Wish I could justify spending that much… Really do wish I could lol.

  2. Hi Chris, thx for reviewing a benchmade there great smooth action knives that feel good in the hand nice quality, I also edc a spiderco. both benchmade and spiderco are really terrific edc knives just not everyone has anywhere from $120. to $240. to spend on a pocket knife but the quality and feel also action of the higher-priced knives really pull ahead of say a $40. knife unfortunately or fortunately you really get what you pay for in most cases, my personal opinion. but thx for reviewing and if you get a chance check out spiderco. cya.

  3. Probably the main reason for the 4:1 ratio of folders to fixed blades is that many states have a lot of restrictions on carrying of fixed blade knives. Unfortunately, I live in Commiefornia, and have almost no opportunity (except when I go to the woods) to carry a fixed blade. I do have a lot of folders though, some of which you reviewed and recommended.

  4. is it because the knife is exclusive that is so darn expensive? is there another model perhaps with the same steel that is not exclusive with a more affordable price ?
