The Benchmage Proper is a sweet little EDC knife. It’s truly pocket knife since it has to rest in your pocket i.e. it’s got no clip. With S30V steel, a very cool G-10 handle, and a compact size, this thing is an attention grabber for sure, and I’m learning to like not having a clip on my knife – check it out!

  1. IMHO the whole Case family of knives are hard to beat on quality and price for a slip joint knife. Benchmade is charging an im-proper amount of $ for this knife.

  2. Not a fan of slip joints but this is a very nice one and if I was looking for one this would be one of my top picks great video very cool.

  3. I carry a swiss army deluxe tinker in blue on my keychain and sometimes use that style blade. I like the blue myself and may eventually get one for a backup blade

  4. I’ve carried traditional knives since 4th grade. Now I’ve been revisiting them and find them made better for the most part but what I’ve always had has always worked for me.

  5. I enjoy the idea behind your video alot and what a great knife… with that said I feel the distractions take people “myself” included out of the video.
