The reaching perfection your right leaves you nowhere to go. Yet people like to see that struggle to try to reach perfection even if it is unattainable.
That happened to me CP. I got my “perfect” girl and 3 years later I was emotionally starved and bored out of my mind. The inevitable parting of ways was ultimately more comfortable yet no more satisfying… leaves you in a pretty bad rut when you’ve spent years climbing your figurative Mt. Everest and find it ultimately less than satisfying when you get there. Like “ok, wtf do I do with my life now?” Obviously, going out looking for another mundane relationship does not seem appealing in the least
