Another great tip is to UNPLUG all unneeded electrical devices. Storms generally come with lighting, and while fuse boxes are typically great these days, doesn’t hurt to unplug the computer and TV to make sure they don’t fry when lightning hits.

Great tips. Were I live we haven’t had much rain and it was just announced that we are in a drought and the reservoirs have about 50-60 days of water left. Good thing we have days worth of water on hand.
