The Saberback Bowie from Outdoor Edge will probably get your attention when you look at it. The teeth on this thing – wow – I mean they look mean. The overall profile is attractive as well, with big belly and recurve as well. Function is decent – it works but for what it is, the size, and the weight, I’d go with the Brush Demon over this one. Now if you are looking for a smaller knife/light chopper and you know of specific use for the saw on the spine, then this one might fit your needs. But for me, a straight machete or a heavier chopper is where I’d go with it. Check out the video for more!

In my experience saw backed anything other than an actual saw is pretty useless. If you know how to make a notch with a blade the saw teeth are pretty superfluous.
Thanks for the review. I’m always leery of sawbacks. I’m yet to see one that helped more than it hindered use. The problems with the ergonomics make this a complete no-go.
It looks like that saw is more for big sticks rather that a log like that
Not my style of knife but great job on what I think is your 1st video at least the 1st one I’ve seen?✌️.
Dam Tim, it looks like this knife brings out the kid in you.
Bwuaahaa bwuaahaa bwuaahaa
Indeed. Check me out with a machete – I turn back to 7 years old.
Overenguneered to be mediocre at everything
