I’m not familiar with that area but if wild onions/leeks/whatever grow there they’ll add some flavor.
On Cape Cod USA, we enjoy snails on a regular basis. We call them “Periwinkles”. We boil up a big old pot, and everyone has a pin just like you. Great video, thanks for sharing.

Be careful getting lemon juice on your hands in the sun. This and some other foods can cause bad burns and blisters when exposed to UV. Look up phytophotodermatitis.
