In this video we are looking at the Thrunite TH30 and the Nitecore HC33. Both were solid lights, both are convertible so they can become an EDC light for you, and there were actually features from each on that I liked. Check out the video and see if one of these could be good for your systems.

Of these two I’d prefer the Thrunite for the USB recharge ability, and I prefer the way the Thrunite cycles through the modes personally… I agree that this style is great for the ability to go from headlamp to clip on.

The turbo mode on the Thrunite is insanely bright. It’s amazing punch for such a small package. I like the slightly smaller size and optional modes of the Nitecore, but also like the USB port on the Thrunite. Either light would be a fine choice. Decisions, decisions…
