    My answer is usually 5 to 6 years old and anything from Victornox is good. That said I’ve seen safe 6 year olds and in scouts I’ve run into boys that were 14 that I wouldn’t trust to butter their own toast. Lol

  2. Great Knife review Brian! I was looking for a safer starter fixed blade for my oldest grandson. This was very helpful in making a decision on purchasing one! (Once his parents let me give it to him! LOL)
