In this video we are taking a look at this FiveJoy Survival Shovel. A lot of people (it seems to me) have been into shovels in the past few years, so we wanted to check this one out. What does Blaise think? Check it out and see.

there alot outher shovels like that.. few of theam have attachment ment on them like a bilking light on it… grea t review as always… also I would use some pipe tape on on it might help from moveing
Some plumber’s tape on the threads might stop it from loosening.
Brian McWhorter thanks for the suggestion!
Thanks for the great, thorough review! I really feel I know what I’ll be buying if I decide to purchase this shovel. Over all, not a bad system. They just really need to work on the connection points to really firm them all up
Trying to seriously chop with this tool, with the blade rotating like that- would be quite a safety hazard.
If I buy a shovel, I want it to dig not chop and if I get into a situation where I just have a shovel I did something very wrong. Sorry. Great review!
Why does every “survival” gadget have to have a bottle opener? unless you happen to get stranded in a super market or a beer factory why would you need one? that saw would have been better if they made the teeth from tip to stem. the placement of the bottle opener looks like a major weakspot to me.
these are ment for camping or beach access ir stuck to help you get on stuck
Right! As someone who doesn’t consume alcohol, I don’t see the point of a bottle opener. Sure, there’s the off chance you’ll find juice in a bottle (I’m not drinking soda/pop). I’d much rather have a can opener …
The reason every “survival” gadget has a bottle opener, is because they are ALL designed, not for actual “survival”, but for the “survival” fantasy of the back yard commando. 99% of this GARBAGE would fail in a few hours of actual heavy real world use. The key to spotting the crap is the word “Survival” ANYWHERE in it’s designation or name.
Lmao so true
There are a dozen versions of this on amazon with different names and prices.
