Honestly, the price is the only thing that keeps me from even remotely considering this as a flashlight. However, we really needed a mega-flashlight this past week since our dog was mauled and bit up by a coyote here in East Mesa. Ended up picking up the Thorfire BLF-Q8 (5000 lumen) flashlight to light up the desert around us. I just wish this thing had even a single second switch on it so we wouldn’t have no learn an entire binary single button language just to operate its 160+ modes.

Though I’ve purchased 3 or lights because of your channel I don’t see how anyone can demonstrate the brightness of a flashlight in a video. I’ve got to imagine any camera is gonna try and compensate for the brightness. Not bashing. Not asking for a tutorial. I just don’t think you can appreciate any lights real brightness in a video. Like watching a commercial for a new TV on an old TV. Some of you will get my analogy. Keep up the great channel Chris.
It does do that. I’ve gotten the hang of adjusting the video brightness to match as closely as possible to what the eyes see. And the phone camera actually works better than the camcorder, so I may keep using that.
