BattlBox Mission 48 is here and I gotta say I like the gear. Overall, I think Battlbox moving away from one strict theme every month will be a win for them and for the subscribers as well. Check out these items and let me know what you think.

The Thrunite TC15 vs. the Olight S2R Baton II - this was a fun video to make. I like both lights, but as you will see after I get done with with the video, the Thrunite is now going to be used more often. As I noted, the
I haven't had a ton of experience with 5.11 bags or gear, so when I got the chance to check this one out, I was pretty pumped. Overall I found this pack very comfortable but as I note in the video, I won't use it for everyday carry because
At Shot Show this year, Maxpedition expanded their Entity line by adding a few new sizes, styles, and features. With their 3 lines now - Legacy, AGR, and Entity - they plan on expanding each line more and more, and they also have some other designs up their sleeve
Notch makes cool hats that are functional - that's the run-down for this veteran-owned company out of Arizona. These hats are made so that your glasses (regular or sunglasses) don't fight with your hat. And with every purchase, you are helping to feed kids around the world.
Here are a few new EDC knives from Gerber. The cleaver - well, maybe not for everyone to EDC, but still pretty cool. The Fastball is in S30V which is a great steel, and the other knives look to be more budget-friendly. Check it out and let
A few new bags are coming out from Maxpedition, and this one has become my everyday carry & work bag. This is the Maxpedition Cross Body Bag (large size). As per other Maxpedition bags, this one is well-made, excellent construction, and the main question is if it fits
The Condor EDC Puukko stood out to me when I first saw it at Shot Show 2018. This knife tips is hat to a traditional puukko but does look a bit more industrial/urban to me. It worked well, it looks cool, and if you are looking for a
I saw this knife a while back at Shot Show 2018 and I was interested to check it out. It's unique looking and I wondered if it was going to be functional too. No, it's definitely not a survival knife, but it did a good job at carving,
The Apache from Blade Runners Systems is a cool knife - I mean, just look at it. With S35VN steel, titanium pretty much everything else, and a sleek design, I think this one is going to be a hit for BRS. Check it out.

In this head-to-head video we are going to compare the Thrunite TH10 V2 against the Rofis R3. Both are EDC-to-headlamp convertible and they have some of the same features as well as some differences. What do you think?

The Benchmage Proper is a sweet little EDC knife. It's truly pocket knife since it has to rest in your pocket i.e. it's got no clip. With S30V steel, a very cool G-10 handle, and a compact size, this thing is an attention
The Thrunite TH10 V2 is basically a compact, EDC-sized flood light and headlamp. As I mention in the video, for this style of light (one that can convert from headlamp to EDC) this one is the MOST flood-like I've used. Pretty impressive - check it out.

The Heretic Knives Manticore X OTF knife - I'm liking it. I don't use a lot of OTF knives but this one and my Benchmade Pagan are 2 that I like bit. This knife is made of S35VN steel, deploys with a nice snap, and all of the

Purchase the TC15 here:
The TC15 from Thrunite is a nice-sized (for me) EDC light that gives over 2000 lumens of output with an 18650 behind it. For around $50, I think this is a pretty nice light and it's certainly a bonus that you can charge it up
The Kizer Megatherium is a very unique, over-sized EDC knife. In this video I wanted to figure out if it was usable as a utility i.e. frequent use knife. Check out the video and see what my conclusion was.

Yes indeed - my top 10 from Wazoo Survival Gear. As you can tell from this video, I really like what Wazoo is doing. The way that combine helpful and cool together into gear - that's a win. So whether it's EDC or survival or just learning
Pre-order this light here:
The Fitorch P25 is (as the name implies) a fat little EDC light that gives you 3000 lumens of output at the highest level. It's USB-rechargable and it is a compact flood light that - for me thus far - has worked well. Check
A new flashlight from Thrunite, this is the TN10 V2, a compact EDC light that (if you use 14500 batteries) will give you 500 lumens of output. It worked well for me once I got the light on, and that is an issue I have with this light.
Here’s a quick look at 3 new knives from Gerber that I’ve been EDCing and that I’ve liked. In the last few years Gerber has put out a lot of new smaller, folding knives, but these 3 have been the winners for me. 2 are budget-friendly and one is

eAlarm +. Having seen one like this in the past, I thought yeah, let's see what's new about this one. Pretty cool little item and for only $16, it's really worth checking out.

In this video we are looking at the Thrunite TH30 and the Nitecore HC33. Both were solid lights, both are convertible so they can become an EDC light for you, and there were actually features from each on that I liked. Check out the video and see if
This is the first unboxing I've done for the PMP Prep Box and I gotta say his tagline about no fillers seems to be spot on. This box was only $100 and I think it's a SOLID box. Cooking gear from the Pathfinder Store, Mountain House meals, and
