Many emails between scientists have been discovered fudging the global temperatures higher than actually recorded to go along with climate change (glabal warming at the time) and thirty to 40 years ago was global cooling. Much of it is tainted with leftist BS.
What hits me is; That New York has a very busy Airport and that we are talking about a city with black asphalt streets. This might be the reason for the temperature increase. In a forest the there are not so much air traffic and industries.
Is it a proven fact that planes being grounded caused immediate warming? Correlation does not necessarily mean causation. It could have easily be a coincidence. There is nothing unusual about getting one degrees warmer from one day to the next.
