TOPS Hammer Hawk: Chopping Machine for Bushcraft & Camp | An Axe Made in the U.S.A.

The TOPS Hammer Hawk is an eye-catcher. And as you will see, this thing chops for you as well. In my view, this is a good option for a camp axe but the weight and part of the handle design makes it something I’ll probably not bring out in to the backcountry with me – check it out.

  1. I’ve been waiting for the release of this hawk but NOT at a $280 price tag. Tops always loses hundreds of sales because they overprice everything they make. Yes fanboys of tops , like apple lovers will happily get fleeced just for the name.
I am really disappointed in the absurdity of the price for this piece. Once again Tops, I’m buying from another company and I’ll get the same or better quality for less than half the price. Sorry for the rant, just so disappointed.

  2. Ya it looks cool, but for that price no way, can do much more work with a small axe with a bigger hammer poll and likely lots more comfort.

  3. Really nice tomahawk not sure if I like the arrow emblem but still a beauty another great review love the leather setup if ur not in wet weather it’s pricey for the steel even if it works better just my opinion like buttholes I’m sure u know?✌️

  4. For half that price get a Hultafors or husqvarna, much better axes out there for bushcraft. Bet you had a sore elbow after this video. The hickory handle on most axes is to absorb the shock.

  5. For $45 or less I can get a US made Council Tool Hudson Bay hatchet that weighs the same, is better weighted for chopping, and doesn’t look like something out of a 12 year old’s Dungeons and Dragons fantasy.
